To invest with Paintovate you must be over 18 years old and legally entitled to invest. You will also need to be a resident of the UK or a country where you may legally receive financial promotions of the nature provided.
If you have any concerns regarding the legality of investing to Paintovate in your country of residence, you should seek independent legal advice before making an account.
Investing in Paintovate is not the same as buying shares in a publicly-traded company such as Lloyds or Tesla. Paintovate is a private company.
That means any shares you acquire cannot be bought and sold on a stock exchange at this time. If, in the future, if Paintovate was to go public or be acquired by another company, you could receive money for your shares or be able to sell them on an exchange.
For now, while it is possible to sell your shareholding if you find a buyer, you should bear in mind that there are restrictions on transfers and there is no active secondary market for Paintovate shares.
To invest in the Paintovate crowdfunding, you must sign up to Paintovate account.
Once you have've signed up and Paintovate crowdfunding round has opened, you will be able to invest.
Your money will be taken and when the round has officially closed you will be issued with shares certificate.
